Prosiebensat beats profit expectations

May 13 (Reuters) - German media group ProSiebenSat.1 Media PSMGn.DE on Wednesday reported first-quarter core profit above expectations, citing its focus on cost management.
The company, controlled by Italy's MFE MFEB.MI after a 2025 acquisition, said its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were 44 million euros ($51.63 million) in the quarter, compared with 37 million euros predicted by a company-provided consensus.
