MOVES-JPMorgan hires KBW's Mihok as MD in banking team
NEW YORK, April 30 (Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase JPM.N has hired Chris Mihok from Keefe, Bruyette & Woods as a managing director to cover banks, expanding the team covering financial institutions, a spokesperson said on Thursday.
Mihok will report to Clay Robinson and Andrew Spicehandler, who lead North America banks. He will start in early July, the spokesperson said.
JPMorgan was one of the financial advisors to Britain's Schroders SDR.L, which is being taken over by U.S. asset manager Nuveen for 9.9 billion pounds ($13.4 billion) in a deal that ends the 222-year-old London firm's independence.
JPMorgan also advised U.S. regional lender Webster WBS.N, which Spain's Santander SAN.MC is buying in a $12.2 billion deal.
Bloomberg earlier reported the hiring of KBW's Mihok.
