BEIJING, April 7 (Reuters) - China on Tuesday published new regulations on supply chain security, pledging to strengthen resilience in key industrial sectors and to take action against foreign entities deemed to threaten its supply chains, state news agency Xinhua said.
The new rule, effective immediately, encourages and supports enterprises to expand and diversify their supply channels and participate in international cooperation.
It also allows authorities to conduct security investigations and take countermeasures against foreign entities deemed to threaten China's supply chain security, including unauthorized supply chain research or data collection in China.
