April 3 (Reuters) - Telehealth firm WeightWatchers WW.O said on Friday its CEO Tara Comonte left the company, effective March 31.
The company's board has formed a transition committee and begun a CEO search, it said.
Tara Comonte succeeded Sima Sistani in 2024 as interim CEO and was appointed CEO last year.
The company said it has established an office of the CEO which will oversee business operations during the transition period.
The board is in conversations to appoint an interim CEO who will lead the office of the CEO, WeightWatchers said.
In parallel, the board has formed a transition committee to oversee the office of the CEO and conduct its CEO search.
The company offers popular weight-loss drugs including Novo Nordisk's NOVOb.CO Wegovy weight-loss pill.
