April 3 (Reuters) - Canada’s finance minister said on Friday that he discussed supply chain integrity and the country’s energy and pork exports during a meeting with counterparts in China as the two countries work to boost trade.
However, Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne added that the automotive sector was not discussed following reports that Stellantis STLAM.MI is discussing options for building electric vehicles in Canada with Chinese partner Zhejiang Leapmotor Technology.
