Hormuz Strait will not be stable if Iran war continues, China's foreign minister warns

BEIJING, April 2 (Reuters) - The issue of passage through the Strait of Hormuz is a spillover effect of the Iran war and the strait will not be stable as long as the fighting continues, China's foreign minister warned, state agency reported Thursday.

Minister Wang Yi made the remarks during a call with Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, in which he also called for an early ceasefire.
