Finnish president tells Trump a 'more European NATO' taking shape, Europe 'shouldering responsibility'

HELSINKI, April 1 (Reuters) - Finnish President Alexander Stubb told U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday that "a more European NATO" was taking shape and that Europe was "shouldering responsibility," Stubb's office said in an emailed statement to Reuters.

Trump said on Wednesday he intended to say in an address to the nation that he was considering withdrawing the U.S. from the NATO military alliance.
