March 31 (Reuters) - Senator Bernie Moreno, a Republican from Ohio, is planning to introduce legislation next month that will target preventing Chinese automakers from entering the U.S. market.
"What we're going to do is we're going to ... seal the U.S. auto industry, so that there's never a scenario where a Chinese automobile will enter our market, that's hardware, that's software, that's partnerships, that's imports," he said at an Automotive Forum event ahead of the New York Auto Show.
