WASHINGTON, March 26 (Reuters) - The Minnesota secretary of state's office has received a grand jury subpoena ordering it to turn over certain individual voter records as part of a federal investigation into whether non-U.S.-citizens are registered to vote or have unlawfully cast ballots, CBS News reported on Thursday, citing sources with direct knowledge.
CBS News reported the investigation is being run by the U.S. Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security.
Spokespeople for Minnesota's secretary of state, DHS and DOJ did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
