BERLIN, March 26 (Reuters) - Hapag-Lloyd HLAG.DE CEO Rolf Habben Jansen on Thursday said the crisis in the Middle East is causing extra costs of $40 to $50 million per week for the company, which are "not sustainable for a long time," as disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz continue.
Hapag-Lloyd faces a difficult start to the year due to the situation, he told journalists, adding that the outlook for the full year remained "still OK".
The company's six ships stuck in the Persian Gulf were currently well supplied with food and fresh water.
