US investors withdraw petition against South Korean government over Coupang

SEOUL, March 10 - U.S.-based Greenoaks ‌and Altimeter said in a press release on Monday they have withdrawn their Section 301 petition regarding the South Korean government's treatment of Coupang Inc CPNG.N, after following constructive discussions with the Office of the United States Trade Representative.

• The investors filed the petition in January, asking the U.S. government to investigate the South ​Korean government and potentially impose trade remedies over what they describe as discriminatory treatment of the e-commerce company.
