Earthquake of magnitude 5.3 strikes Greece-Albania border, no reports of damage

- An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 struck western Greece, near the border with Albania, early on Sunday, the Athens Geodynamic Institute said, but there were no reports of damage.

The quake was at a depth of 9.7 km (4.35 miles) in the Epirus region, the Institute said.

Greece is often rattled by earthquakes, most causing no serious damage.
