JERUSALEM, March 3 (Reuters) - Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, the country's main international gateway near Tel Aviv, said Israeli airspace was set to gradually reopen overnight Wednesday to Thursday with only one passenger flight per hour in the first phase.
The airport would eventually open to two passenger flights per hour in a second phase, Ben Gurion Airport said in a statement on Tuesday without giving a timeline.
Israel's airspace was closed on Saturday at the start of U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran, which have triggered retaliatory missile barrages from Iran against Israel.
The barrages were ongoing as of Tuesday, with sirens ringing across the country.
