SHANGHAI, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Hong Kong-based airline operator Cathay Group said on Saturday it had suspended all of its operations in the Middle East, citing tensions in the region after Israel and the United States launched strikes on Iran.
The suspension affects passenger flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh, as well as freighter services operating through Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, the parent of Cathay Pacific Airways 0293.HK said in a statement.
Flights typically passing over the affected area are being rerouted, it added.
