China urges immediate ceasefire after US, Israel strike Iran

SHANGHAI, Feb 28 (Reuters) - China's ministry of foreign affairs on Saturday expressed deep concerns over the U.S. and Israel's military strikes against Iran, urging an immediate ceasefire.
The ministry said Iran's national sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity should be respected, and urged all sides to avoid further escalation of tensions, and to resume dialogue and negotiations.
