MOSCOW, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Russia's President Vladimir Putin held a video conference meeting with the members of the Russian Security Council to discuss the U.S. and Israel's strikes on Iran, Russian state news agencies reported on Saturday citing the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
The United States and Israel launched strikes on Iran, targeting its leadership and plunging the Middle East into a new conflict that Trump said would end a security threat to the U.S. and give Iranians a chance to topple their rulers.
