Russia's Lavrov condemns strikes on Iran in call with Iranian minister

MOSCOW, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi on Saturday, Russia's Foreign Ministry said.
Lavrov condemned what the ministry described as an "unprovoked armed attack" by the United States and Israel on Iran, and urged an immediate halt to the strikes.
