Rubio meets Syrian foreign minister, SDF commander, US says

Feb 14 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and Syrian Democratic Forces commander Mazloum Abdi on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, the U.S. State Department said on Saturday.
Secretary Rubio stressed the importance of implementing a permanent ceasefire and integration agreement in northeast Syria, and welcomed the Syrian government's commitment to fully cooperating with the United States.
