MILAN, Feb 11 (Reuters) - American speed skater Jordan Stolz lived up to the thunderous expectations surrounding him as he charged to gold in the men's 1,000 metres at the Winter Olympics on Wednesday.
Dutchman Jenning de Boo and China's Ning Zhongyan took silver and bronze, respectively.
