MEXICO CITY, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Wednesday she had no knowledge of drones being used on the border with United States, when asked about the reason for a temporary suspension of flights at the El Paso airport in Texas.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration had halted air traffic due to what it said was a drone incursion by a drug cartel, but later allowed flights to resume.
"There is no information regarding the use of drones at the border," Sheinbaum told her regular morning press conference.
