US, Bangladesh make trade deal, White House says

WASHINGTON, Feb 9 (Reuters) - The United States will reduce its reciprocal tariff rate to 19% percent on imports from Bangladesh under a trade agreement reached between the two countries, the White House said on Monday.
Both countries also committed to address non-tariff barriers in Bangladesh and the U.S. will allow certain textiles and apparel from Bangladesh to be exempt from tariffs, the White House said.
