LONDON, Feb 8 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said it had been "an honour" working with his top aide Morgan McSweeney, who resigned on Sunday for his role in the appointment of Peter Mandelson as ambassador to the United States.
"Our party and I owe him a debt of gratitude, and I thank him for his service," he said, praising McSweeney's role in helping the Labour party win the 2024 election.
