LONDON, Feb 5 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Thursday that no one was aware of the "depth and darkness" of the relationship between former U.S. ambassador Peter Mandelson and Jeffrey Epstein.
"It had been publicly known for some time that Mandelson knew Epstein, but none of us knew the depth and the darkness of that relationship," Starmer said, adding that the information now available shows that Mandelson lied about their closeness.
