Striking workers at Chile’s Mantoverde mine reject new contract offer

SANTIAGO, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Workers at Capstone Copper'sCS.TO Mantoverde gold and copper mine in Chile voted to reject a new contract offer from management and will continue a strike that began in early January, their union said on Friday.
The company presented a new proposal on Wednesday that included final payments equivalent to $17,400 per member and a 1% wage adjustment.
