EasyJet's quarterly loss widens amid Italian expansion

LONDON, Jan 29 (Reuters) - EasyJet EZJ.L on Thursday posted a wider first-quarter loss, as the British budget airline absorbed costs from its strategic expansion into Italian airports.
EasyJet reported an operating loss of 76 million pounds ($105.14 million), compared with last year's first-quarter operating loss of 40 million pounds.
($1 = 0.7229 pounds)
