South Korea trade envoy says to find rational solution over US tariff threat

SEOUL, Jan 27 (Reuters) - South Korea's trade envoy Yeo Han-koo said on Tuesday that the government is still trying to figure out the background of U.S. President Donald Trump's social media post threatening higher tariffs and over the measures Seoul can take.
Yeo said he planned to visit the United States soon and talk to his counterpart at the office of the U.S. Trade Representative, in order to find a rational solution between the governments.
