Trump: Italy needs approval from legislative branch to join peace board

ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE, Jan 22 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that Italy needs approval from its legislative branch to join the "Board of Peace" initiative aimed at resolving global conflicts.
Trump also said Russian President Vladimir Putin will join the peace board and make a contribution of a billion dollars.
"I think it's important to have everybody," Trump told reporters.
