BEIJING, Jan 22 (Reuters) - China's foreign ministry said on Thursday that "the so-called China threat" was groundless in response to NATO saying negotiations on Greenland with the U.S. are aimed at ensuring Russia and China never gain a foothold in the island.
"China opposes the practice of creating something out of nothing and using China as an excuse for selfish gain," Guo Jiakun, a spokesperson for the ministry, said at a press briefing.
