Taiwan wants balanced US trade, to build a strategic partnership

TAIPEI, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Taiwan wants balanced trade with the United States and to build a strategic partnership with the country, Taiwan Vice Premier Cheng Li-chiun said on Tuesday.
Cheng made the comments at a news conference in Taipei following the completion of trade talks last week with the United States, which resulted in the reduction of tariffs on Taiwan's exports to the country.
