BERLIN, Jan 18 (Reuters) - A shelved package of EU retaliatory tariffs worth 93 billion euros ($107.68 billion) will come into effect automatically on February 6 if there is no agreement with the U.S. after it threatened to impose tariffs on European allies over Greenland, an EU diplomat told Reuters on Sunday.

The EU import tariffs on U.S. goods were suspended in August for six months after Brussels struck a trade deal with Washington. That deal is now in jeopardy due to an escalation in the Greenland dispute.
