
Jan 14 (Reuters) - Defense contractor ASRC Federal said on Wednesday its subsidiary has been awarded a contract worth up to $2.3 billion for chemical and oil supply chain management by the Defense Logistics Agency.
DLA's ChemPOL manages the supply of critical commodities such as chemicals, packaged petroleum, oil, and lubricants for military and federal agencies.
Under the deal, the unit, ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, will cater to the Department of War's demand across the world, supporting about 17,000 delivery orders each month, the company said.
Arctic Slope Regional Corporation and its family of companies operate six diverse lines of business, including government services, petroleum refining and marketing, and industrial services.
