X down for thousands of users, Downdetector shows

Jan 13 (Reuters) - Social media platform X was down for thousands of users in the U.S., UK and Canada on Tuesday, according to Downdetector.com.
There were more than 11,137 reports of issues with the platform as of 09:11 a.m. ET, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources.
X did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
