Trump voices doubts about Machado's ability to run Venezuela

PALM BEACH, Florida, Jan 3 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump expressed doubt on Saturday as to whether Venezuela's opposition leader, Maria Corina Machado, can run that country, saying she does not have the support or respect of the people.
Trump told reporters at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida that he has not been in touch with Machado after the overnight arrest of President Nicolas Maduro.
