KYIV, Dec 29 (Reuters) - President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Monday dismissed Russian accusations that Kyiv had tried to attack President Vladimir Putin's residence in the Novgorod region as "another round of lies".
He told reporters by WhatsApp that with such statements, Russia was trying to undermine progress reached in Ukraine-U.S. peace talks and that Moscow was preparing ground to strike Ukrainian governmental buildings in Kyiv.
Zelenskiy urged U.S. President Donald Trump to react accordingly to Russian threats.
