EU's Costa: visa bans are unacceptable measures between allies

BRUSSELS, Dec 24 (Reuters) - European Council's President Antonio Costa said on Tuesday the U.S. travel ban imposed on five European citizens, including former Commissioner Thierry Breton, "are unacceptable between allies, partners, and friends".
"The EU stands firm in its defense of freedom of expression, fair digital rules, and its regulatory sovereignty," Costa said in a post on X.
