South Korea aide headed to US to discuss nuclear-powered submarine plan

SEOUL, Dec 16 (Reuters) - South Korea will try to build fresh momentum for discussions with Washington on its plan to build nuclear-powered submarines under last month's agreement by their leaders, Seoul's top national security official said on Tuesday.
Wi Sung-lac said he planned to meet with his U.S. counterpart Marco Rubio, as he departed for a visit to the United States.
