BRUSSELS, Nov 26 (Reuters) - The European Commission is ready to present a legal text on the use of Russian frozen assets in the Ukraine war, its President Ursula von der Leyen said on Wednesday.
In a speech addressing the European Parliament, she also welcomed the efforts led by U.S. President Donald Trump to end the war, adding that a peace deal should ensure real security for Ukraine and Europe.
"If today we legitimize and formalize the undermining of borders, we open the doors for more wars tomorrow, and we cannot let this happen", she said.
