NEW YORK, Sept 2 (Reuters) - A divided U.S. appeals court on Tuesday allowed Democratic U.S. Federal Trade Commissioner Rebecca Slaughter to resume her role at the agency, despite Republican President Donald Trump's effort to remove her from office.
