TAIPEI, Aug 29 (Reuters) - U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, chairman of the powerful Senate Armed Services Committee, told Taiwan President Lai Ching-te on Friday that he was visiting Taipei to get a better understanding of the needs and concerns of Taiwan.
