SEOUL, Aug 25 (Reuters) - South Korean President Lee Jae Myung said it was difficult for Seoul to accept a U.S. demand to adopt "flexibility" over operations of the U.S. military now stationed in South Korea, the Yonhap News Agency reported on Monday.
Lee made the comment on a flight to Washington where he is scheduled to hold a summit meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday.
Lee said he expected to discuss national security issues, South Korea's defence spending and details of a trade agreement that was agreed by the countries in late July, Yonhap said.
