SEOUL, Aug 22 (Reuters) - South Korea's top security adviser Wi Sung-lac said on Friday that Seoul was reviewing plans for U.S. investment and purchases of American weapons ahead of a summit between the countries' leaders.
Speaking ahead of the meeting between President Lee Jae Myung and U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday, Wi said modernisation of the countries' alliance against the backdrop of U.S.- China rivalry was one of the summit's objectives.
