Panama's Mulino to meet with Chiquita next week after mass layoffs

PANAMA CITY, Aug 21 (Reuters) - Panama's President Jose Raul Mulino on Thursday said he would meet with a top executive from banana giant Chiquita in Brazil, as his government seeks the firm's return to the Central American nation after it fired all its local day workers due to a strike.
Mulino said they would likely meet on August 29, before his return to Panama.
