Klabin secures fresh BCI, BTG investments for forestry project

SAO PAULO, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Brazilian pulpmaker Klabin KLBN4.SA said on Tuesday that BTG Pactual Timberland Investment Group and Canada's British Columbia Investment (BCI) have agreed to make additional contributions to its Plateau forestry project.
The fresh investments will total 1.2 billion reais ($220.62 million) and are expected to be made by the end of the fourth quarter, Klabin said in a statement.
