Axis appoints North America cyber zonal leads

Aug 19 - (The Insurer) - Axis Capital has created a new zonal lead structure for its North America cyber business, appointing four executives to strengthen broker engagement and support business development across key markets, the company said on Monday.
Nikki Ortega and Paige Jacqmin will co-lead broker engagement in the Northeast, Iman Williams-Mulesa will oversee the Central region, Jonah Papesh will head the West, and Ashley Sales will continue to lead the Southeast, according to a post by Axis on LinkedIn.
The Bermuda-based carrier said the zonal leaders will act as strategic relationship managers, working with brokers to deliver tailored cyber solutions and market insights.
The move follows a restructuring of the North America cyber team in July, when Axis named Matt Jeske to head large-account underwriters, Sales to lead middle-market underwriters and Brett Mandel to oversee SME and digital underwriters.
