Germany's Merz to join 'coalition of willing' for Ukraine talks at 1015 GMT

BERLIN, Aug 19 (Reuters) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will participate in a video conference of the so-called 'coalition of the willing' at 1215 local time (1015 GMT) to continue talks on security guarantees for Ukraine, a government spokesperson said on Tuesday.
Later, at 1300 local time (1100 GMT) he will join a video conference hosted by European Council President António Costa to report to all members of the European Council on discussions in Washington on Monday which also included Ukraine, the spokesperson said in a statement.
