EU will hold video conference to debrief on Ukraine, Costa says

BRUSSELS, Aug 18 (Reuters) - European Council President Antonio Costa said on Monday that he would convene a video conference for European Council members for Tuesday afternoon to debrief about this week's meetings in Washington on Ukraine.
"Together with the US, the EU will continue working towards a lasting peace that safeguards Ukraine's and Europe's vital security interests," Costa wrote in a post on social media platform X. The conference will be at 1300 CEST, he added.
