China eyes more programmes for TV and radio

BEIJING, Aug 18 (Reuters) - China will promote the introduction of "excellent" overseas programmes and make the TV drama content review mechanism more efficient, the National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) said on Monday.
Authorities will also improve the management of TV drama episodes and duration and strengthen programme copyright protection, the NRTA said in a statement introducing measures to enrich the supply of radio and television content in the country.
