BHSI names Irfan Esa head of UK national business

Aug 18 - (The Insurer) - Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has appointed Irfan Esa head of its national business in the UK, the company said on Monday.

Esa, who joined BHSI in 2020 as national property manager in the UK, has more than two decades of experience in the country’s insurance industry. He has previously held senior roles at AIG and RSA.

The appointment comes as the insurer looks to expand its focus beyond London. Earlier this month, BHSI named Franco Masciovecchio country manager for Switzerland.
