Howden Re appoints Guy Carpenter's Wong as head of treaty for Hong Kong

Aug 18 - (The Insurer) - Global reinsurance broker Howden Re has announced the appointment of Candy Wong as head of treaty for Hong Kong with effect from Monday.

Howden Re said Wong will work closely with its Hong Kong managing director Roy Wong.

In her new role, she will lead Howden Re's Hong Kong office and develop the firm's treaty reinsurance proposition.

She has 40 years of experience in the reinsurance market, half of which has been in leadership roles in Hong Kong. She most recently served as managing director at Guy Carpenter having previously spent more than three decades at Aon Re China, latterly as managing director.
