Air Canada suspends plans to restart operations

Aug 17 (Reuters) - Air Canada AC.TO said on Sunday it has suspended its plans to restart operations after the Canadian Union of Public Employees directed its flight attendant members to defy a direction from the Canadian Industrial Relations Board to return to work.
The airline said it will resume flights as of Monday evening.
